A more than successful CERAMITEC 2018
15.05. 2018
From 10 -13 April 2018, the LINGL Group presented itself at the CERAMITEC trade fair in Munich.
Being the leading trade fair of the ceramic industry, the CERAMITEC – once again – offered the German plant and machine manufacturer the ideal opportunity to present the company and its products to the professional audience coming from all over the world.
The numerous visitors at the LINGL booth showed great interest in the detail solutions, individual machines and overall concepts for the heavy clay industry offered by the company. The innovative solutions for sanitary ware and technical ceramics also met an enthusiastic response. With fine meals and in a comfortable atmosphere, we were able to foster the relationship with our customers of many years, but also to make new, promising business contacts and to establish informative technical discussions.
In the booth area occupied by the Service department, the company informed the interested audience about topics such as remote service, optimisations and upgrades, plant and process analyses as well as trainings and seminars.
Another highlight of this year’s fair was the “ZI Best Service Supplier Award” contributed to LINGL. Participating in the award ceremony which took place during the CERAMITEC fair on the occasion of the „Heavy Clay Day“, the whole LINGL team were pleased to be awarded first place. More than 100 brick companies from all over the world have participated in the survey electing LINGL the company having the best service performance in this industry sector. Besides classical supply of spare parts, important topics of the survey – among others – were subjects as raw material and process analyses, machine optimisation and modernisation as well as energy and cost saving potentials. The award confirms the customer-oriented thinking and acting of the plant manufacturer and simultaneously it is an incentive to strengthen and expand even more in all business units the focus being on the customers.
During the CareerDay organised on the initiative of the VDMA association [1] and aimed at recruiting new talent, Mr. Harald Gruber (Head of Human Resources and Social Services) promoted in his lecture the various professional opportunities at LINGL.
As a company with long tradition, LINGL’s expectations with regard to the CERAMITEC fair have been more than fulfilled. The large number of visitors at the booth, the interest in the technologies as well as the specific inquiries of customers from all over the world are evidence that a good and successful follow-up business may be anticipated after the fair. The huge amount of positive feedback from the entire market environment is considered by LINGL as confirmation and as incentive to continue on the path we have embarked on.
